Hampshire have announced the signings of Australians Michael Neser and Jake Lehmann. Neser, who claimed his maiden Test five-for against England at the Gabba last week, will join for the first six rounds of the County Championship in April-May, while Lehmann has agreed a two-year contract as a locally registered player using his UK passport.Neser, 35, had a previous stint with Hampshire in 2024, playing seven games in the Blast alongside one Championship appearance. He has also enjoyed success with Glamorgan, taking 80 first-class wickets at 23.00, as well as recording his highest score of 176 not out.Lehmann, 33, the son of former Australia batter and coach, Darren, has never been capped but is a steady performer for South Australia in the Sheffield Shield. Another Australian heading to the UK in 2026 is allrounder Liam Scott, who has signed to play for Gloucestershire in the T20 Blast. Scott, 25, will also be available for two rounds of the County Championship in June.Scott was a team-mate of Lehmann’s in the South Australia side that won the 2024-25 Sheffield Shield. He has also played for Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash, and been capped for Australia A. Last week, he scored his maiden first-class hundred, an innings of 147 off 171 balls that helped set up a ten-wicket win.Jon Lewis, Gloucestershire’s director of cricket, said: “Liam is an exciting young allrounder from South Australia who plays for the Strikers in the Big Bash. He’s a cricketer whose stock is on the rise and is highly regarded across Australia. We’ve done extensive research into the best young allrounders available, and adding a third overseas player with a different skillset will help balance our T20 squad throughout the tournament.”We’re really excited to welcome him over. We’ve heard so many positive things and look forward to seeing him join the group.”Liam will also be available for two County Championship matches at the height of the summer. وكانت تقارير صحفية إسبانية قد أكدت الشهر الماضي أن زين الدين زيدان يستعد للعودة للتدريب بعد نهائيات كأس العالم 2026 لتحقيق حلمه وقيادة منتخب فرنسا والذي حقق معه كأس العالم 1998.

ويحتل ريال مدريد وصافة جدول ترتيب الدوري الاسباني ب36 نقطة، خلف برشلونة صاحب المركز الأول ب40 نقطة.

كشفت تقارير إعلامية اليوم الأحد، سبب عدم مشاركة نجم نادي برشلونة، روربرت ليفاندوفسكي، خلال مباراة أوساسونا يوم أمس السبت بالدوري الإسباني.

برشلونة استطاع مواصلة صدارته لبطولة الدوري الإسباني للدرجة الأولى، وتمكن من تحقيق انتصار جديد وهذه المرة على حساب أوساسونا بهدفين دون رد، ليبتعد البلوجرانا في صدارة الليجا بفارق سبع نقاط عن ريال مدريد الثاني.

لكن مدرب برشلونة، هانز فليك، عول على خدمات فيران توريس كمهاجم صريح، إلى جانب رافينها دياز، وماركوس راشفورد، ولامين يامال في خط الهجوم.

وأشارت صحيفة سبورت بجانب الصحفية ميريرا رويز، إلى أن ليفاندوفسكي كان يعاني من آلام على مستوى أوتار الركبة، وهي مشكلة عضلية دفعت هانز فليك إلى عدم المخاطرة بالدولي البولندي في لقاء الأمس.

وأضافت أن ليفاندوفسكي كان بإمكانه اللعب لمدة 15 دقيقة في لقاء الأمس في حال تعقد المباراة، لكن بعد هدف رافينها الأول تم استبعاد دخول اللاعب إلى أرضية الملعب.

وأوضحت أن هذه هي المباراة الخامسة التي يغيب فيها ليفاندوفسكي عن صفوف برشلونة هذا الموسم بسبب مشكلة عضلية، مما أثار قلق النادي الإسباني.

وأردفت أن ليفاندوفسكي شارك خلال 17 مباراة مع برشلونة هذا الموسم وسجل خلالها 8 مباريات فقط وهو معدل غير معتاد في مسيرة اللاعب البولندي.

وتعتبر هذه هي المباراة الثانية على التوالي التي يجلس فيها ليفاندوفسكي في بطولة الدوري الإسباني على مقاعد البدلاء دون أن يشارك دقيقة واحدة، بعدما لم يلعب الدولي البولندي ضد ريال بيتيس الأسبوع الماضي.

وأفادت أن فليك لا يخطط للدفع بـ ليفاندوفسكي في مباراة برشلونة المقبلة أمام جوادالاخارا يوم الثلاثاء المقبل في بطولة كأس ملك إسبانيا، وستعتمد عودة اللاعب على مدى جاهزيته في التدريبات خلال الأيام المقبلة.

Ben Cliff’s maiden five-wicket haul in first-team cricket – a superb 5 for 46 from 8.3 overs – set Yorkshire up for an opening day Metro Bank One-Day Cup win over last year’s semi-finalists Warwickshire at Scarborough, by five wickets chasing 138.New-ball quick Cliff, aged 22, was playing his first first-team game since the summer’s opening week following a side injury, and he was the chief tormenter as the Bears were bowled out for 137 inside 37 overs at the start of Group B.Cliff struck four times in a devastating opening spell, with Warwickshire slipping to 38 for 7 before Vaansh Jani’s brilliant 82 off 92 balls. It was the 20-year-old’s maiden first-team fifty in his second game.Yorkshire, for whom Adam Lyth took four catches in the slips – equalling a club record for outfield catches in a List A innings – didn’t chase with ease on a tricky pitch. But Pakistani international opener Imam-ul-Haq held things together with 55 off 83 balls.Cliff struck twice in three balls in his opening over and four times in all as the Bears crumbled to 24 for 5 in the 10th having been inserted.
